Mission Statement

At the Touchstone Group L.L.C., our goal is to provide benchmark asset management and real estate transaction services to private owners/investors and lending institutions searching to realize the return on their investments without the responsibilities and daily intrusion of active management.

Senior Management Roles and Experience

The Touchstone management team includes Courtland Townsley and Trina Lowmaster, both broadly experienced and highly successful executives with deep backgrounds in the multi-unit residential real estate market in both Chicago and Boston areas.

Courtland Townsley’s expertise is in operational management, organization, and contract services.  He has several years experience working on both the development and seller side of real estate working with over 750MM in real estate assets.  Mr. Townsley attributes his success in real estate to both his management and economic background and his ability to identify trends in the market and helping his clients reach their long term goals.  He provides the operational guidance for the firm and arranges for all contracts and supporting services from local professional and trade suppliers with which he is already well acquainted. 

Trina Lowmaster joined Touchstone Group, LLC as Director of Leasing and Operations.  She has 10 years of real estate experience and 5 years in project management. Trina has worked as an attorney in the real estate community and has brought with her impressive legal experience, property management experience and extensive knowledge of the industry.  Primarily, Trina specializes in partnering extensively within the real estate community to ensure our clients’ properties receive a high level of exposure.  In doing so, Trina reduces vacancy time for our clients significantly, thus allowing Touchstone to focus on clients long term needs as opposed to transaction based companies that are willing to let properties go vacant.  Trina states “we would rather pay out a leasing fee to other broker’s within the community even if it means our loss of short term revenue.  We feel that serving our clients’ needs as if they were our own will instill confidence in our clients that will enable us to establish long term relationships.”
